What an absolutely, amazing day this was!! We had so many visitors throughout the day! All the activities were well supported, enabling us to raise a fantastic amount of £1300 plus. It was just wonderful to see so many parents supporting the event. An excellent assembly led by Comic Relief set the scene for the day! Children dressed up with a red theme and took part in many activities with some of year 6 organising and leading their own stalls. We had a cake sale with many cakes baked by the children themselves. There was face painting which the children thoroughly enjoyed, along with a ‘custard pie in the face’, bravely held by Mr Weavers and Mr Sheehan. Nearly everyone took part in a danceathon to the Red Nose day song. We also had the final of the Bake Off and you can find information on this from a link on the home page.
