What a fabulous day this was! Children began the day coming into school in non-uniform with a theme of pink and purple (colours that represent the charity). The afternoon was the main event with so many visitors attending to help raise money for CLIC Sargent, a children’s cancer charity. An informative assembly led by Karen Roberts, a representative from CLIC Sargent, set the scene for the afternoon fundraising activities. There was a huge variety of activities to participate in including: penalty shootouts, biscuit decorating, teddy auctions, a singing station, paper aeroplane flight competition and face painting. Fun was had by all and the children all thoroughly enjoyed the event. In total we raised a massive £722.79.
