Hello Cannon Street
Please can you log onto Purple Mash every day. We will be telling you what work has been set in our Cannon Street Learning Blog. We will be logging in every day with a new 'blog' to say hello and answer any queries, and of course, to check your work . There will be English, Reading, Maths, Science and fun things too.
As an extra ... in case you cannot access a computer.
English - spellings from Spelling Shed. You can practise these, in any coloured pen, in your spelling books using any learning strategy. Why not apply these to a sentence? Or challenge yourself and write a paragraph using a variety of punctuation.
Reading - Don't forget to read every day and then you can quiz at home. Reading can be from books or from Purple Mash. If you want, why not challenge yourself and write a book review. If you aren't sure - please ask.
Maths - Let's Rock in Rockstars 🎸 Challenge yourself, a peer from school or even a teacher. We are waiting!
Don't forget to log onto My Maths too. We are still setting you homework
In addition, we had added some activities for PE and French too so you can have a variety of things to do.
If you have any questions please us ask at firstname.lastname@example.org or 'blog' us.
and stay safe.

Free Audible Stories
For as long as schools are closed, Audible Stories are open. Starting today, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids.
All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet.
A website that reads stories to you and you can use as a guided reading tool.
For further support for SEND activities, please refer back to our school website, under key information.
I will be setting some work too so check your 2todo list or please feel free to just explore the Computing section of Purple Mash. I have also set up a Computing Learning Display Board so it would be great to share some of your work with everyone too.
If you wish to explore the world of Computing further you could try the links below. They are both websites recommended for Computing and free to use but always check with an adult that they are happy too before you log on.
