Cannon Street - Year 3
Homework is set every Monday. This term, we will be focusing on your times-tables, spellings and reading at home to an adult. Please login to your TTRS account to practise your set times-tables (let's start filling up your TTRS cards with those stars!) and your Spelling Shed account to continue the spelling scheme we are focusing on in class.
To encourage you to read, aloud, at home, we will be having a weekly competition within the class. When you read at home, please get your adult to sign your reading record. When you get to school, show me your reading record and I will enter you into a raffle to win a prize on the Friday. The more times you read, the more entries you can have in the raffle and the better the chance of winning!! Good luck. Don't forget you can look for a book of your choice on your myON reading account.
You will find the links for all of these websites below.
Key Skills morning
Cannon Street will have Key skills on Friday mornings. Key skills mornings consist of 3 lessons: ICT; PE and Outdoor Learning. Please could the children bring in spare footwear (trainers/wellington boots) to wear for their outdoor learning session that they can keep in school.
Cannon Street now have PE on a Tuesday and Friday. Please bring in PE kits on Monday mornings. These will then stay in school all week and be taken home Friday afternoon. Please can you also ensure there is a pair of socks in your child's PE kit. Thank you.
This week the children enjoyed using resources to answer a variety of questions in our 'Snappy Maths' session.
Rebuilding the community of Bumbleford! Cannon Street have worked exceptionally hard this term on their stage 3 project. Take a look at what they have created 😀
This week, Cannon Street enjoyed helping their school community by picking litter from the school field. The children all had a great time and asked if it was something we could do regularly!
