PE and outdoor learning |
Kings Cross's PE days are Monday and Wednesday.
PE/Outdoor learning kit should be brought to class on Monday and taken home on Friday to be washed and cleaned. Unfortunately, if your child do not bring in their PE kit into school then they will not be able to participate in PE for that session. As a reminder, can children also not come to school wearing earrings on PE days. Earrings cannot be removed at school as per the risk assessment in order to keep everyone safe.
Children should all have a full PE kit which includes: black shorts/ black tracksuit bottoms (for colder weather), white T-shirt, jumper and a suitable footwear.

Building on Year 4's study of the impact on Britain of Anglo Saxons and Viking invaders, through this unit, children should understand that our society was also influenced by a civilisation in another country - Ancient Greece. Children should gain an understanding of daily life in ancient Greece and including ideas, beliefs, attitudes and experiences of men, women and children - Comparing Athenians vs Sparta. A study of Greek achievements and their influence on the western world - including democracy and politics. Understand the rise and fall of the civilisation. Compare with A non-European ancient civilisation around the world at the same time |
