Welcome to Notting Hill Gate Class Page
When Do I Have P.E.?
Notting Hill Gate have P.E. lessons on Monday afternoon and Friday morning. Please check the uniform policy for full information on acceptable P.E. wear.
P.E. kits will need to be bought into school every Monday and taken home on Fridays to be washed.
After half term, Year 3 will continue their Outdoor Learning during Key Skills. Please remember to bring some different footwear (old trainers/wellingtons) that you don't mind getting muddy, if you haven’t any in school already. The Outdoor Learning footwear will need to be left in school until the end of the Summer Term.
Key Skills morning
Notting Hill Gate have Key skills on Friday mornings. Key skills mornings consist of 3 lessons: ICT; P.E. and Outdoor Learning.
Homework is set every Monday. Please login to your TTRS account to practise your set times-tables (let's keep filling up your TTRS cards with those stars!) and your Spelling Shed account to continue the spelling scheme we are focusing on in class. Remember to read at home, too!
To encourage you to read, aloud, at home, we will be having a weekly competition within the class. When you read at home, please get your adult to sign your reading record. When you get to school, show me your reading record and I will enter you into a raffle to win a prize on the Friday. The more times you read, the more entries you can have in the raffle and the better the chance of winning!! Good luck. Don't forget you can look for a book of your choice on your myON reading account (your user name and password is the same as the one you use for quizzing your reading books in class).

'Indoor' Outdoor Learning
When the weather prevented us from being outside - we bought the outdoors, inside! Notting Hill Gate enjoyed playing a Kim's Game using natural resources and applying their colour mixing skills to paint from memory.
Stone Age Gatherers
Notting Hill Gate used their Stone Age skills to gather natural resources to experiment making a dye to use as paint.
Notting Hill Gate enjoy using resources to answer a variety of questions in our 'Snappy Maths' sessions.
World Book Day 2021
Even though most of us had to celebrate this at home this year, we still managed to dress up and share the fun together!
We rebuilt Bumbleford!
Notting Hill Gate worked exceptionally hard to complete stage 3 of their Connected Curriculum project. Take a look at the pictures of their work.
