Powers Hall Academy
Parent Voice is not about fundraising or governing the school, it’s about creating a platform for parents’ voices to be heard from, creating opportunities for parents to be involved in school matters, encouraging parents as volunteers and improving communications between the school, the parents and the community.
Parent Voice is a collaboration between parents and the school.
Through our half termly meetings, Parent Voice will discuss and action
ideas and report on progress made. All parents and carers are welcome.
To be effective, the Parent Voice needs parents from all age groups
within the school to attend the meetings.
The meeting will always have a theme and this will be communicated to
parents before the next meeting. Parent Voice will be posted on the
website and after each meeting the minutes and discussion points will be
added with the date for the next meeting. Reminders will also be sent via
the fortnightly newsletter.
